Ripley is a young lady that is scared of people and shies away from human affection but she is eager to play with string toys and chat you up. She is really very sweet and gets along with other cats and litter box trained. She would be best in a home without small children or over amorous dogs. Her adoption fee is $43 and includes deworming, spay, Negative FIV/Leukemia tests and rabies vaccination. Please email us at email@example.com for an application.

Thank you so very much for considering to adopt and especially for entertaining the idea of adopting a senior or handi-capable dog or cat - you are already amazing in our book!
Please email firstname.lastname@example.org for an adoption application.
Meeting and potential adopting will be considered after we have received your filled out application and gone over everything to ensure that this would be a good thing for you and the pet you're interested in (some aren't good with kids or cats, have certain medical requirements, etc), have spoken to your current or past veterinarian to ensure that you are a good and responsible pet owner. This process all typically takes a day or two at the most.
If all is well then we will schedule a meet and greet with the pet of your choosing. If that meeting goes well for both of you then you get to bring home your new best friend! We ask that you allow 2 weeks with your new best friend to determine if this is the best match for you. Due to nerves and previous experiences they may not make the best first impressions but are trying their best.
Adoption Fees: Typically adoption fees will vary depending on medical expenses that were incurred at their arrival but are usually no more than $75
*****ALL ADOPTIONS ARE BY APPROVAL OF UNDERDOG ANIMAL SOCIETY - WE WANT THE BEST POSSIBLE HOME FOR THESE ANIMALS WHO HAVE ALREADY BEEN THROUGH SO MUCH. IF YOU ARE NOT SELECTED AFTER APPLYING THAT DOESN'T MEAN ANYTHING ABOUT YOU - WE VERY CAREFULLY PICK OUT WHO WOULD BE BEST BASED ON A LONG LIST OF WHAT EACH INDIVIDUAL CAT OR DOG NEEDS BASED ON THEIR MEDICAL, PERSONALITY, ETC NEEDS****
Please note that if your current/past pets were not up to date on heartworm prevention or if you do not have a fenced in yard (for dogs) you will be declined an adoption. While you may be an excellent pet owner and have no need for a fenced in yard we have run into too many irresponsible pet owners that allow their pets to free roam, etc and the outcomes have been unfortunate. Due to this we no longer allow any dog adoptions to homes without fenced in yards. Thank you for your understanding.
Underdog Animal Society has the right to decline any adoption for any reason and without explanation.
Sanctuary seniors! - not available for adoption due to health/behavioral issues but will live out their life with Underdog Animal Society - donations in their honor are greatly appreciated!
Elsa is 18 yrs young - she has some severe heart conditions that have her taking several pills per day.
Very very sweet girl! Unfortunately due to her heart problems and separation anxiety her medications cost about $122/month.
You could donate on her behalf via PayPal to email@example.com or by going to the home page of this site and clicking on "donate".
Stoche (pronounced Stosh with a hard "o") is about 10 years old and he came in with Precious from the same place- he has a formerly broken jaw and hematoma in his ear that gives him no problems. His hind legs were also slightly malformed and he is sometimes cautious about his lower back. Stoche is very sweet and will stalk you where ever you go. Stoche unfortunately has never fully come around to potty training so has to wear a belly band at all times. If you would like to donate on his behalf you can via PayPal to firstname.lastname@example.org or this website has a donation link you can use. All donations are tax deductible as we are a recognized non profit.
Lucy, 8 yrs young. Has PTSD issues from a horrid past that I won't mention here so she is not available for adoption due to some rage-style issues that have never led to one single bite but we would rather her to stay with us where we know her triggers. You can donate to her care by going to the home page at this website or via PayPal to email@example.com
